My fiance and I have never received horrible service like we did when we visited this restaurant. We arrived, and were the only customers... understandably. I found a hair in my rice and quietly showed the waitress (female owner, older woman). She proceeded to offer me something new since we had just begun our meals, but before saying anything to my fiance, told him she would still be charging him for his although he couldn't eat it. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't want to keep scarfing food down if I knew that there could be hair or something even worse in it. When we voiced our concerns with this service, she proceeded to scream at us in the restaurant, calling us mooches and other names in spanish, and even went to the extent of saying that we probably could not afford the bill anyway. We easily could, although now I wonder why in the world we would ever pay $10 for a small, not-so-tasty plate of food. Not only that, but they were metal plates, and each meal was actually cooked in its plate, so we had to literally scrud*e our enchiladas off the plate. We walked out having paid $10 for three bites of food and $2 for a CAN of soda. Neither of us have ever received service like this in our lives, and will definitely pass on to as many people as possible that they should not visit El Borracho...The Drunk. The ambience, service, food, and hair were absolutely horrible. (edited)
